Trip to America and Upcoming Ministry

Dear friends and family,
We just returned from a three-week trip back to the States, and it was nothing short of incredible. As a family, we hold the value of honoring and cherishing our earthly family very close to our hearts. Ministry overseas is our calling and joy, but being able to step back into the embrace of parents, siblings, cousins, and grandparents reminded us just how sacred family is in God’s design.
The highlight was celebrating my little brother’s wedding. To see him grow from a boy into a man, and now into a husband, was one of the most moving experiences of my life. Watching him stand there, vowing his life to the woman he loves, felt like a fulfillment of years of prayers and a testimony of God’s faithfulness. It was a privilege and an honor to witness that moment, surrounded by the people who have shaped both of us along the way.
Even though our time in the States was brief, it was profoundly impactful. Every day we were with family from both sides, sharing meals, telling stories, laughing, and simply enjoying the gift of being together. These were not just moments of rest, but moments of deep joy and gratitude, filling our hearts with fresh strength as we continue in the work God has called us to here in Thailand.
We were also blessed that my parents, the Freemyers, came back with us to Thailand and spent two weeks with us in our home. Their help was such a gift, especially with the long travel hours and the transition back into life here. They also helped us get settled back into ministry mode, and we are grateful for the encouragement and support they gave during those weeks.

Ministry Update – DTS & More
Back in Trang, our YWAM base launched its Discipleship Training School (DTS), and it has already had an incredible start. Students from different backgrounds have come hungry to know God and make Him known, and we are seeing the Lord meet them in powerful ways. The atmosphere has been full of worship, teaching, and fellowship, already bearing the fruit of transformation.
At the same time, we have been flooded with emails from YWAM bases all over the world who want to come do their outreaches here in our city. It is so encouraging to see how God is stirring hearts to come and help expand the Gospel in Trang. Each new request feels like another confirmation that the Lord is building something special here.
Along those lines, our ministry truck, which was so graciously provided for, is almost finished at the shop. It is being fitted and prepared to serve as a true outreach vehicle, and the timing could not be better. It should be ready just in time for the next team’s arrival in October. We are so thankful for this provision that will make our ministry more effective and mobile.
Looking ahead, please be praying with us for the upcoming Titus Project outreach we are hosting. This is a Bible school outreach focused on teaching people how to study Scripture well. That means we will be doing a lot of teaching in churches and training settings. Pray that God opens many doors for these opportunities and that He raises up more translators to partner with us in this outreach. We are eager to see Thai believers equipped with tools that will deepen their love for the Word of God.
Responding to Tragedy
This past month has also been marked by grief and reflection as we heard the heartbreaking news about Charlie Kirk. When moments like this happen, we are reminded of Paul’s words in Ephesians 6, that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the enemy and the spiritual forces of evil.
When faced with evil and loss, the proper response is not despair, but action rooted in faith. For me personally, this tragedy has drawn me deeper into prayer. I believe God wants to stir His people through moments like these, not to shrink back, but to rise up.
Let it drive you to action. Pray earnestly for those who are hurting. Go to church, especially if it has been a while. If you have struggled to keep up a quiet time with the Lord, start again today.
I truly believe God will bring great fruit through what the enemy intended for evil. As Charlie himself once said, “It’s a great day to go to church.” May we take those words to heart and respond to days like these with faith, prayer, and renewed devotion.
As always, we are deeply thankful for your continued support and prayers. Your partnership allows us to both minister here in Thailand and stay connected to family back home. We could not do this without you.
With love and gratitude, Connor, Nicole & Elouise
