What an Amazing Season!

Wow, what a wild and beautiful past eight weeks it’s been!

Nicole and I had the incredible privilege of helping lead this year’s Outreach Teams Ministry (OTM) season here in Trang, and honestly, we’re still processing just how much God did. It was busy, it was stretching, and it was so encouraging to see God's hand over us and our ministry.

Throughout the 2025 OTM season, we hosted four different teams from both Thailand and overseas. These past eight weeks, especially, were packed; we were going non-stop, hosting a six-week team from YWAM Montana, followed by a three-week team from YWAM Bangkok with a short time of overlap. Each team brought something unique, and it was amazing to see how God used them to reach people in our city with His love.

Not only did God move powerfully in our community through outreach, but we also had the chance to disciple and encourage the visiting YWAM students, helping them grow in boldness, step out in faith, and catch a deeper vision for how God can use their lives to impact the nations.

We jumped into so many areas of ministry together, running English camps in local primary schools, sharing the Gospel with students and teachers, hosting community nights filled with fellowship and testimonies, and serving the city through practical outreach projects. It was intense, but it was joyful, and we saw God moving in powerful ways.

One of the biggest blessings during this season was working side-by-side with our YWAM Trang staff team. Everyone gave so much of themselves—leading, coordinating, translating, encouraging, and doing all the behind-the-scenes work that made this season possible. It truly was a team effort, and we couldn’t have done it without them.

Our Roles During This Season

For Nicole and me, this season wasn’t just something we led; it was something we lived. We were fully invested in it from start to finish, each in our own, yet complementary,

ways.

I (Connor) was on the ground with the teams basically every day. I handled all the day-to-day scheduling, ran with them to every ministry opportunity I could, helped translate, coordinated logistics on the fly, and did my best to create space for the teams to thrive. It was long days, lots of details, and a lot of sweat—but I loved it. I felt alive being in the thick of it, walking with the teams, encouraging them, and helping them stay focused on Jesus and the mission. Every moment was worth it.

Nicole did a ton of work before the teams ever landed in Thailand. She made sure each team had all the information, preparation, and support they needed to hit the ground running. From pre-trip communication to packing lists, cultural orientation materials, and answering team questions, she helped lay the foundation for a smooth outreach. Once the teams arrived, she stepped into a powerful teaching role, leading our missions teaching for both of the final teams. She taught with clarity, passion, and conviction, and honestly, I was just so proud of her. She helped carry the heart of YWAM Trang straight to the teams, and it made a deep impact.

A Season Full of Breakthrough

Here’s a huge God story we’re so excited to share: God miraculously provided $20,000 for our base to purchase a vehicle that will now be used for all our future OTM ministry! This has been a huge need for a long time, and we’ve been praying and believing for a breakthrough. Now we have a reliable transportation option for our teams and ministry, and we’re just in awe of His perfect timing and provision.

On top of that, God opened so many new doors. We’ve deepened our partnerships with schools and community leaders, but one of the most exciting parts is that we’ve also started connecting with many local Thai believers. We’ve been able to encourage them, walk with them, and challenge them to be bold in their faith and to share the Gospel in their own communities. We really believe this will lead to long-term fruit.

This season reminded us again why we’re here. Nicole and I feel so honored to be part of what God is doing in southern Thailand. We’re tired—but in the best way. Our hearts are full, and we’re so thankful for every moment, every relationship, and every open door.

To those of you who pray for us, support us, and walk with us in this calling, thank you. You’re a part of this fruit, and we couldn’t do it without you. We believe the seeds planted this OTM season will grow into something even bigger in the months and years to come.

All for His glory,

The Holloways

Only let your manner of life be worthy of the gospel of Christ, so that whether I come and see you or am absent, I may hear of you that you are standing firm in one spirit, with one mind striving side by side for the faith of the gospel.
